Founded by longtime friends Tehya Milburn and Darya Kasten, Candon was born from a shared dream to create something personal, beautiful, and lasting. Together, they’ve built more than a space for stunning transformations—they’ve created a space filled with meaning, memory, and heart.

Tehya, a third-generation stylist with 15+ years behind the chair, brings deep experience and creative artistry to every service. Known for bold color work, flawless extensions, and transformative cuts, she’s also a passionate educator committed to elevating the industry she loves. A Washington native now proud to call Texas home, Tehya’s greatest joy is helping clients feel their absolute best—inside and out.

Darya, the business mind behind the studio, brings a decade of entrepreneurial experience in real estate, construction, and operations. With degrees in Marketing and Supply Chain Management, she’s obsessed with building beautiful, functional spaces—and even more passionate about creating meaningful experiences for clients and staff alike.

In 2023, both women experienced pregnancy at the same time. Tehya welcomed her first child, a baby boy. Darya experienced the unimaginable—losing her son, Candon, to stillbirth. In his honor, the studio carries his name. It’s a space filled with love, remembrance, and new life. As part of that legacy, a portion of proceeds from every children’s haircut is donated to stillbirth research foundations—supporting awareness, healing, and hope for other families.
